Living
Fields

Spaces held by a living container - to connect, remember and resource.

Living Fields

A living practice for facilitators, leaders, and organisations ready to work with the aliveness in every room.

Spaces to slow down, share what's working, imagine together and co-create pathways forward.

"The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance."— Alan Watts

Living Fields are spaces held by a living container - intentional, held for a period of time, and alive to what wants to emerge within them. They can evolve and grow, and what gets created is a product of the field itself rather than any individual within it. All fields are different and the same. In their truest essence, with total presence, they are total peace. In the humanness, they are dynamic, alive, responsive, creative. Relationships form that can run deep, wisdom becomes available, imagination flourishes. What becomes possible depends on the intention, purpose and context - and on the quality of attention brought to it.

Inspired by living systems

The qualities of a Living Field

Slowing down

Creating space to share what is really happening - in our work, in ourselves, in the systems we are part of.

Learning as nature

Designed for renewal, reconnection and regeneration - returning to what is already alive.

Visioning together

Pathways forward that emerge from both individual and collective imagination and presence.

Being human

Gatherings of humans, bringing whatever living questions are present.

Going beyond sectors

Explorations and dialogue that weave perspectives from across civic, institutional, and grassroots worlds into a larger view.

Growing fields

Each space is part of a larger, ongoing field - in relationships, in work, in what participants carry forward.

What makes a living field

The relational architecture

Living Fields gathers and tends four qualities - each one a condition for something alive to happen.

Relational field

Care, respect, and connection as the ground - the conditions that make participation feel possible and worth doing. A felt sense of place, and of what is being explored together.

Cross-sector bridging

Connections beyond silos - weaving perspectives from across civic, institutional, and grassroots worlds.

Inner-outer integration

Personal and collective renewal as one movement - the inner life as much a part of the field as the outer systems being worked with.

Life giving

Regenerative by nature - spaces designed to return energy rather than deplete it.
